A-tisket, a-tasket...

A-tisket, a-tasket, a green and yellow basket... Never one to miss a photo of a bike, I just had to add this one to my photo collection. I had serious basket envy when I saw this one and I am still trying to figure out the difference in the wheel size. This was the end of a beautiful walk at the National Trust property, Polesden Lacey in Surrey. You can view the photos from my walk HERE.

  1. Let me tell you, baskets that big and that full make for wonky pedaling. I spent some time in the summer with a good friend at her home in the SC marshes. We biked far, far away to a secluded spot where I discovered tons and tons of gorgeous oyster shells. Well, of course I had to have as many as I could gather, to line one of my garden beds don't you know. Well, I filled a bag to the brim and squished it into my bike basket. The long, long drive back was decidedly difficult. I had very little control over where I was going!! But it was worth it! I had enough shells to line a flower garden and a vegetable patch!!
